Play Blackjack at Magpies Sporting Club in New Year

Mackay will have a casino only for one night, giving people a chance to play their favorite blackjack and roulette games. However, they will not be allowed to play for real money. This is because the Magpies Sporting Club wants to celebrate the New Year in a unique way.
Lee Skerman, the general manager of the Magpies Sporting Club, says that the club has hired Blackjax Fun Casino, a company based in Townsville to bring dealers as well as tables to Mackay. He said that there will be blackjack and roulette tables and that the New Year Party will be on a “dress-up theme” as “New Years is all about putting on a costume.” Revealing further details about the party, he said that they had thought of doing the fifties theme when the Rat Pack was active and Las Vegas began prospering after World War II.
The casino night organized by the Magpies Sporting Club will be only one of the several New Year parties, which will be hosted in Mackay. Movidas will be organizing an event on the theme of Moulin Rouge. The Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre will organize a free New Year Party on the theme of super heroes, which will include live entertainment.
