Online blackjack this week, 19–26 October 2026: a new distribution deal could bring more live-dealer tables to participating casinos, while New Zealand’s licensing process has moved another step forward. Our bonus checks also show why a bigger promotion headline does not automatically mean a better offer for blackjack.

QTech adds CreedRoomz live blackjack to its distribution platform
QTech announced on 26 October that it has integrated live-casino supplier CreedRoomz. The catalogue made available to its operator partners includes blackjack alongside roulette, baccarat and other live games.
For players, the useful development is distribution: casinos using QTech may be able to add another supplier’s live blackjack tables. The announcement does not identify a player-facing casino launch, promise access in every country, or set out the rules and betting limits of each table.
Before trying a newly added table, check its blackjack payout, whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17, and the rules for doubling and splitting. Side bets have separate payouts and odds. A new supplier or studio does not by itself make a game better value.

New Zealand: the right to apply is not a casino licence
SkillOnNet’s newsroom reported this week that the group had advanced to the next stage of New Zealand’s online-casino licensing process. The Department of Internal Affairs lists Skill On Net Limited among 11 successful auction participants who secured rights to apply for licences.
The distinction matters. The auction has selected applicants, not awarded final operating licences. DIA says successful bidders must still complete a detailed application and assessment. Its public guidance says the fully licensed regime is expected to be operational in 2027, and approved brands will appear on its public register once licences are granted.
For online-blackjack players, this is a market-development update rather than a recommendation to join a newly licensed site. An operator’s auction success should not be presented as proof that a particular casino brand has already received approval.

Bonus watch: live-casino credit needs a blackjack eligibility check
The Dutch 888 and ComeOn promotional pages currently advertise up to €80 in Evolution free chips as one welcome-offer option. Their displayed terms describe a €40 first-deposit allocation followed by €20 on each of the next two qualifying deposits, with a minimum €20 deposit at each stage. The promotions are for eligible new players aged 24 or over in the Netherlands.
Those live-casino headlines need a closer check before a blackjack player acts. The pages describe time limits and capped winnings, but the displayed offer terms we checked did not name the eligible blackjack tables. We therefore have not treated these offers as verified blackjack bonuses, ranked them in the calculator, or assumed the credit behaves like a cashable deposit-match bonus.
Offer sources: 888 NL’s promotional page and terms and ComeOn NL’s promotional page and terms. Availability and terms can change; confirm the offer shown in your own eligible account before depositing.
Compare the terms before the headline
For an offer that explicitly allows blackjack, compare its wagering base, blackjack contribution, maximum bet, expiry, withdrawal restrictions and cashout cap. Free chips and free bets may return only winnings, so they should not be entered as an ordinary cashable match bonus.
