The 8th Annual Mike Miller Charity Event, which was held at New Icon Lounge in Downtown Sioux Falls, on July 20, Friday, included plenty of blackjack action as usual.

Mike Miller, who won his first NBA championship a month back, spent the afternoon of July 20 at Sanford Children’s Hospital, located in Sioux Falls, and hosted his charity blackjack event. Recently, Mike Miller informed The Associated Press that he is trying to avoid getting a surgery on his back and is going to rehabilitation instead. He also said that he will continue doing the things he usually does and will get ready for the reason.

Miller’s blackjack charity event was a huge success, its highlights being live music, live and silent auction, celebrity appearances, a cash bar with hors d’oeuvres, a post party, and much more. So far, Mike Miller Foundation has raised and given way more than $2 million to charitable institutions.

The celebrities who appeared for the event were Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller of Miami Heat, Chad Greenway of Minnesota Vikings, and MMA fighters Gray Maynard, Aaron Simpson, Mike Chandler, C. B. Dollaway, Chris Weidman, and Robbie Lawler. The cost of the sponsorship packages ranged from $5k to $1,750.
