Blackjack Revenues Up 10.7% in April

Nevada revenues were up slightly in April, but blackjack numbers surged, as revenues for the state’s casinos were up 10.7% for the period when compared to the year prior.

Casinos in the Silver State brought in $87.1 million during April, besting baccarat with which it has battled for the past year for table game supremacy. The numbers are impressive considering there are 2,600 tables in the state. For the last year, the game has been very profitable as revenues came in at $1.2 billion.

As a whole, Nevada’s gaming revenues for the month was $886.5 million, up 5.5% for the year prior. Year-to-date numbers were at $7.26 billion, up 3.5% from 2016.
