Governor Decides To Add Blackjack Games To North Carolina Casinos

Blackjack players in the state of North Carolina will be thrilled to note that the Governor and the Cherokee Indian have to come to an agreement to have casino table games in their casinos.

Bev Perdue, the Governor of North Carolina and the Cherokees have agreed to introduce card games in the style of Las Vegas casinos. The games like blackjack and so on will have dealers and as a result will create 400 new jobs for the locals, according to the statistics reported by the Cherokee tribe. The Governor has signed an agreement to sanction these casinos and provide a portion of the revenues generated to the schools in the region in need of aid.

It is possible that the new agreement will create opportunities for a few more resorts and casinos to spring up in the region. The agreement found favour since it was viewed as away to help the school districts. “My top priorities are strengthening our schools and creating jobs, and this agreement does both,” Perdue announced.
