Wiggy’s blackjack Book Recommended as Christmas Gift

December 20th, 2012 by Site Admin

Blackjack players or friends and family members of blackjack enthusiasts who are wondering what to get them for Christmas may now find it easier to shop for presents this year thanks to reviewer John Grochowski.

According to Grochowski, one of the ideal presents for blackjack players this year is a book titled “1536 Free Waters and Other Blackjack Endeavors” by Glen Wiggy. He claimed that the book is both “informative and entertaining” and is simply just “fun to read.”
The book was highly recommended as a gift suggestion and may end up being under several blackjack player’s trees this year. “Glen Wiggy’s “1536 Free Waters and Other Blackjack Endeavors” ($18.95, iUniverse)…ranks high on my list of Christmas gift suggestions for gamblers. Subtitled “Finding Profit and Humor in Card-Counting,” Wiggy’s work includes how to play, blackjack terminology, basic strategy and an explanation of how to count cards.

The card-counting section includes some graphics that will be helpful to beginners, depicting full tables of cards along with the plus-1, minus-one and zero designations for keeping a running count,” said Grochowski.

What distinguishes this book form the others is that it is not merely instructional. “But while the route toward gaining an edge on the house is important to “1536 Free Waters,” the heart and soul are the stories of Wiggy’s more than 800 casino visits from 2001-2008,” added Grochowski.
